We always look around to find the tasty yet special food to
eat. However, we always missed out the thing which near us. This time, I back to my old housing area, which located
at Pudu. There is a road when the night turn on the light, there will full of
food stalls. There do have a lot tasty yet affordable foods. The road in
Chinese name “餵吃街”, wai sek
gai, which mean “wanted to eat”. It is located at Jalan Sayur, Pudu. Most of the food stalls there are starting their business at
5pm, somehow, most of them will finish selling out their foods at 9 something. During
that few hours time, you can see most of the stall is full of people queuing up
front of it. Still remember, last time when i still a secondary students, after tuition class that just beside the road there, i will go the fried chicken stall buy a packet of french fries eat and walk back home. Time Flies.
The most famous stall here is the fried chicken stall. Once it open, there will lot of people queuing up waiting to buy. I love their French fries, which the taste is definitely different with those fast food restaurant or mamak store.

This is the stall that I always wish to eat, but I’m always late or they are not open. This is the stall which selling steam egg dessert. Finally, this time I manage to eat. This stall have 50years history, and it only selling 5 types of chinese dessert. However, this stall always the first stall to finish sold out their foods.
The other famous stall is this selling curry "chee cheong fen". It is some kind like malay's kuih, and made by powder. It served with curry sauce and pig's intestines.
This is the stall selling fried taufu. It served with some carrot slices, rojak paste with peanuts. The taste it just awesome. Some of the people like to add the crunchy prawn's biscuit and fried squid. They also selling squid served with kangkung. The price range for their food is slightly higher, somehow they are still lot of people buy it.
This is the view of the Jalan Sayur, as the night is still young, there's have not much people as i think. The price range of the foods here is from RM3-RM20. You still can find the mee that selling only RM3 here. It's really cheap in KL.
The price of food is not important than taste. Sometimes the sidewalk snacks also taste good. Giving a chance for yourself to try all different kind of foods is giving yourself to eat the tasty food.
